Fall Festival 2010

Washington Street School's annual Fall Festival was held on Saturday, October 2nd. It was a beautiful, sunny day, and the school and community spirit that makes Franklin Square such a wonderful place to live, work and play was alive and well. The Washington Street School PTA, led by co-presidents Vicki Gioia and Angela Gunn and Fall Festival organizers Tina and Anton Bruchhauser, outdid themselves with games, vendors and delicious food. Extra kudos go to our resident zeppole bakers and the "top chef" who made the sausage and peppers . . . Yum! Also a big thank you to Mr. and Mrs. Coucoulas who, each year, delightfully "scare" us with the, now famous, "Spook Walk." Enjoy this small sampling of the smiles that made the day such a success . . . . Thank you, PTA!
